Go Red Campaign 2007!
February 15th, I attended the 6th annual Long Island Go Red for Women Luncheon, and let me tell you... It truly was a great experience which has further inspired me to stay involved for the cause!
Being a surviving child of a parent who's life was cut short by heart disease, it meant so much to attend and be in the company of so many passionate people working for this cause that is so important to everyone.
I was astounded to learn that 70% of the onset of heart disease is brought on by lifestyle choices, it was actually rather empowering to know that we can do something reverse and prevent this disease by simply by making smarter and healthier lifestyle choices...\
